Time: 10 minutes
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup oats
2 tbsp. cacao powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground clove
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
Toppings:
Chopped apples
Unsweetened coconut shreds
Dates
Dark Chocolate
Maple syrup / honey drizzle
Add all ingredients to a small sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir occasionally. Add more liquid to adjust consistency, depending on how you prefer the texture of your oats (more liquid or thick).
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cook until tender, 4-6 minutes.
Transfer the oat mixture into a bowl and top with your favorite fruit or sweets.
