Green Detox Juice

It's simple to make, it takes just 10 minutes and a blender. Juicing is a great way to get quality nutrients without activating the digestive system. Try this refreshing and herby recipe!

Raw I Vegan I Gluten Free

Serves: 1

Time: 10 minutes

2 heads romaine lettuce

1 green apple, quartered

3 cucumber, chopped

3 limes, juiced

4-5 inch piece ginger, chopped

Dill (~1/2 - 1 cup)

Thai basil (~1/2 - 1 cup)

Cilantro, with stems (~1/2 - 1 cup)

1/2 cup water, + more as needed (when making with a blender)

Prepare the produce, washing, peeling and chopping as needed.

If using a juicer, slowly press all ingredients. The pulp will automatically be separated from the juice. Pour in a glass and enjoy!

If using a blender, add all the ingredients along with a little bit of water. Mix on medium-high. When everything has processed and broken down, use a strainer, cheese cloth or nut bag to separate the juice from the pulp. Squeeze out all the liquid into a bowl/glass.

Drink fresh!
