Nutbutter



Vegan I Gluten Free Serves: ~2 cups

Time: 15 minutes


3 cups almonds, cashews, or nut of choice! Place the nuts in a food processor and blend on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stop and scrape down the sides. Continue blending for another 2 minutes. Stop and scrape down the sides. Continue this process until a liquid nut butter is formed. Takes roughly 15 minutes. Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Note: your blender may stop during the process. Stop to scrape down the sides. If it begins to overheat, let cool for several minutes before continuing.

Health Tip: Always read the ingredient list when you purchase nut butters at the store, often they like to slip in lots of oils and sugars.
